Matthew Neff works across photography, sound, moving image, objects, installation, and performance. Work begins with attention: how an experience changes when we stay with it, repeat it, interrupt it, or return to it over time.
Images and sounds move between forms. They are photographed again, looped, slowed, obscured, printed, projected, mixed, rerouted, and returned to the room. Earlier material remains active alongside new work.
Nothing here is necessarily finished becoming something else.
The archive is a reservoir.
